A special lecture visit from a fellow who does not lecture in the US very often.
On Wednesday, September 06 , Dick Koornwinder of Amsterdam, Holland will be offering his Lecture on Magic exclusively to IBM Ring 63 in Greenville, SC. The lecture will begin at 7:30 and will take place in The Playhouse on the Furman University Campus.
Dick was a FISM winner in 1970. Realizing it was a third prize in Card Magic after Ascanio and Tony Binarelli it was not that bad. He has been the reigning Dutch Champion from 1984 till 1989. Dick has performed at the Magic Castle twice in the Close-up room. Further Ken Brooke, the famous British dealer, has marketed some of his effects in the seventies. To
mention a few… “The Koornwinder Kar”, “The Great Benjamin” and not to forget “Clockaudacious”. In one of his publications Racherbaumer has stated Clockaudacious is one of the best clock effects ever. He was a close friend of Fred Kaps and a couple of years ago he has been the initiator and co-producer of a DVD dedicated to Kaps. He (along with his
great friend Tommy Wonder) has been a pitch man for the fabulous Squirmmel.
Dick will bring his vast knowledge of magic, his clever and inventive approach to tricks, his rich association with the greats of European magic and his sparkling sense of humor. This exclusive lecture will be one you will NOT want to miss!
Cost to guests = ONLY $10!
