Magician Accused of Rape and Torture..

Yucca Valley Ca. - Police have filed charges against Robert Allen Coffie, 42, for the forcible rape and torture of a teenage girl. He allegedly tied her up, burnt her with hot metal, and raped her.

Coffie, of Yucca Valley, was arrested Monday after an investigation into the incident led to charges of Causing cruel and extreme pain  for the purpose of revenge, false imprisonment, and persuasion for a sadistic purpose.

Coffie, who goes by the stage name Robert Allen Dowie, Jr., has appeared in 16 films, including "Cowboys & Indians", "Infected", and "A Grave Mistake".

He also claims to have been an apprentice to the legendary magician Harry Blackstone Jr.. 

His biography on imdb.com reports that he performed onstage professionally in Las Vegas as a magician.

Coffie was booked into the West Valley Detention Center and is being held under $925,000 bail...
