Another contribution to the world of magic from Fort Wayne's Journal Gazette..
There are lots of reasons why someone might want to become a magician.

Actually, there probably aren’t so many reasons.

But Chicagoan David Shareef picked the most unlikely of all, at least in the context of community plausibility standards.

Money.

“As I did more research, I found out how much money there was to be made,” Shareef said in a telephone interview. “Oh, my god. The average kid show magician can pull in $6,000 a month. There are so many multimillionaire magicians out there that nobody’s ever heard of.”
